On discretion.
So much of what makes everyday life feel safe goes quietly unseen. A shop keeps your order to itself, your bank does not read your statement aloud, and no one mistakes that quiet for secrecy, because it is simply how people come to trust one another.
A new kind of helper is now arriving. Software is beginning to act for us, on errands large and small, and before long it will be doing so through the day and the night, at a pace none of us could follow. It deserves the same courtesy we have always shown one another, and so do the people it works for.
We believe that privacy and good judgement can live side by side, so that whatever acts in your name remains both discreet and answerable to you. That belief is what we are building on, patiently and properly, and we will share more when there is something worth showing.
